1999

The foundation of the company

The idea of combining good quality and fashionable trends with sporting activities such as surfing and jogging, and thus getting the Swiss pet market moving, emerged from a thesis during studies.

1999

We start with Freezack

The birth of freezack, the own brand of BusinessCom Trading AG.

2000

Rogz goes to Switzerland

The Rogz brand is sold in Switzerland for the first time.

2001

Now we are taking off!

BusinessCom starts as an importer and wholesaler of dog and cat accessories.

2003

Our products are a byword for quality

With the Rogz brand, we have established ourselves as a specialist for sporty, fashionable and high-quality nylon leashes and collars.

2005

We need more space!

We move to Biglen and increase our storage space from around 300m2 to over 1,000m2 of storage space (which is very well heated in summer and well cooled in winter).

2006

World Wide BusinessCom

BusinessCom goes online and is presented on the Internet for the first time.

2007

Our assortment is getting bigger

We revise the catalogue and present many new products and innovations.

2008

More space and more pleasant conditions

Nestlé Purina Pet Care contacted us to ask if we could look after the specialist retailers in the feed environment for them. We make a start and move again. In Gümligen we now have around 1,800 m2 of storage space with optimal access possibilities (and the temperatures are practically the same in summer and winter). Our warehouse staff are happy about the comfort that the loading ramp and the storage on one level brings.

2010

We present ourselves in a new design

We revise our corporate identity (CI) and adapt everything. The new catalogue is being created, true to the motto "the life of the animal is important to us"! The catalogue builds on the daily occupation of dogs and sets new standards in its mode of operation and user-friendliness.

2011

The only constant is change

Dog Gone Smart with the great Nano products broadens our bed collection. The new website goes online. For the first time, we decide not to visit a trade fair and plan an open day at the company premises.

2012

Growth continues

Dirty Door Mats becomes a hit and brings a lot of music to the range! Chomper, Escapure enrich our range.

2013

Benvenuto a bordo

United Pets, a friend from way back, decides to join us and complements our existing products with Italian charm. Rogz in particular is very strongly supported in terms of colour and harmonises perfectly with United Pets. Our snack range is complemented with Doggy Kitchen and the focus on Switzerland and sustainability is strengthened.

2014

Natural effectiveness

Together with the Swiss company Bogar, effective, high-quality, herbal products have found their way into our range. Bogar AG produces its products according to its own recipes and international standards. To guarantee the high quality of the products, only the best raw materials are used and processed in the manufacture of all products.

2015

Swiss dog and cat specialities

Fresh, high-quality products, enriched with Swiss BIO Alpine herbs and all from Switzerland. These are our motivations for our new product line Snuggi's.

2016

bePure - for the love of nature.

Launch of our own global food brand at Interzoo 2016.

2017

Moving is the order of the day

We move to Burgdorf with new offices and a warehouse with an area of 12,000m2

2018

Events shape the year

The birth of our own care and hygiene brand. In-Fluence offers high-quality products in the field of body and dental care, as well as nutritional supplements and also protection against parasites for dogs and cats.

We expand our warehouse space by 14,000m2 with another warehouse location in Gontenschwil.

2020

Larger assortment, larger warehouse

Our warehouse in Biglen with an area of 21,000 square metres has been in operation since March 2020.
